Late update. John and Clyde made the most of things last weekend
in Peru, coming in 5th and 6th respectively and were able to drive home
happy. John coned away his fast runs both days but may have
turned the corner on coming to grips with the non-BMWness of the
RX-8. We wish him luck in the future (but not too much -clyde).
Clyde let his head get away from him on Saturday and it showed in his
driving the way that fresh blood shows on a white t-shirt in a
Wendy's. He refocused Saturday night and aaaalllllllllllllll day
on Sunday waiting for the seventh heat trying to relax and keep his
head clear. He seemed to be somewhat successful as he drove much
better on Sunday.
With the top 4 in B Stock being who they are, John and Clyde don't have much to complain about.
