2007 Team WTF?! Challenge Rules The rules for the 2007 Team WTF?! Challenge are quite simple, but we’ll be making some of them up as we go along and they are always subject to change. Eligibility: Anyone that participates in the 2007 WDCR Solo Series and registers on the TeamWTF.org website is eligible for the 2007 Team WTF?! Challenge. “Real” Team WTF?! members may compete, but will not be eligible for prizes. They will be displayed in the standings, but will indicated as being ineligible for prizes. To be eligible to score points for each event, you must run the 2007 Team WTF?! Challenge stickers on your car. The sticker requirement will be waived until the stickers are made available (expected at the April 22 WDCR event). Scoring: While the 2007 Team WTF?! Challenge requires self-scoring on the part of the competitors, we will be doing spot checks to try and ensure honesty. For the most part, we have to use the honor system for scoring. Some things we can check (like finishing position and official cone counts), but some things we can’t (like broken tools and parts, missed shifts, etc). Generally, we’re going to try to trust you, but if we suspect that information is falsified, we may dock points or disqualify you. Further, we’ll also dock points or disqualify you if we suspect that you are intentionally doing things to score points that may disrupt the event or endanger anyone. Taking out extra cones for points is not acceptable. Intentionally spinning or going off course is not acceptable. Running a car in a manner meant to encourage something breaking or failing is not acceptable. If these kinds of things are abused, the 2007 Team WTF?! Challenge will be halted. Decisions by the Team WTF?! judges will be final. Qualifying events: WTF?! points may be earned at all 2007 WDCR Solo Series events. This includes the Test 7 Tune event on March 25, 2007 and the Ron Katona Memorial Autocross currently scheduled for July 30, 2007. Prizes: At a minimum, the grand prize will either be a candy bar or a galled wheel stud from the 2004 Team WTF?! RX-8. Seriously, we’re working on making some decent prizes available, but nothing has been finalized at this time. As prizes are confirmed, the website will be updated. Team WTF?! reserves the right to scuttle the whole thing at any time for any reason. If we didn't it wouldn't be Team WTF?!
