...went to look at Land Rovers this weekend with a friend. Damn, those
things are cool. Of course, for around town use they are a complete
waste, but the off-road capabilities are amazing. The dealer has a demo
cobblestone "road" with a series of banks and angles, and after running
the course in the Disco *I* was about to pull out my checkbook.
Hmm, if I could get a manual transmission, a diesel engine, and a cloth
interior with hose-out floormats, I might actually take up off-roading
as a hobby.
